FILM POSTERS
These film posters were a self driven project with the goal of incorporating physical media into each piece. I spent several weeks on each poster, pushing my ideas as far as I could to create unique, tactile posters to reflect each film.

PAN’S LABYRINTH (2006)
Pans Labyrinth follows the young stepdaughter of a sadistic army officer who is drawn into magical world of mythical beings.
For this film poster, I experimented with chalk (which is used by the main character throughout the film). I played with a labyrinth shape, various ways of designing the typography, as well as an outline of a door as seen in the movie.

SHUTTER ISLAND (2010)
Shutter Island follows two US marshals who are sent to an asylum on a remote island to investigate the disappearance of a patient.
I incorporated written notes that are seen in the film, as well as elements of old crime documents. I used pen to draw the lighthouse, (an important element in the movie) and stylized it to reflect the quick, handwritten notes and the overall feeling of anxiety found in this thriller film
